So this weekend was nothing, but bad luck. Just one thing after another really. First I went in to sub at work and before I could leave the house I couldn't find my helmet so I ended up leaving a bit late. By the time I got to work I was really distracted because of all the stress of school and suddenly this pole comes out of nowhere! Actually it was always there I just reacted a bit too late and went head first over it, but as I didn't have my helmet I managed to "walk" over the bike and banged up my right knee (yes the famed taboo knee) something fierce and ended up having to work on it for about 2 hours. Then when I finally get off my mom is still at the theater watching new moon (suck!) with her friend so I have to ride the bike back home! Not before I have to fix the chain first after much pushing and pulling and hands covered in dirt and greese (I don't mind that part, just the fact my knee still hurt at that point). Fixed that, sort of, then rode to the transit center downtown took the two buses it takes to get near home then rode in the dark with no light to see by, barely a shoulder to ride on and no way for cars to see me except at the last second. Got home had to clean up puppy mess then finally got to sit down!!

I went to the doctor today and had it X-rayed (I'm gonna get cancer!! haha), but she said there is probably nothing wrong with it and being that it feels better I believe her. Still really swollen though.
Good news, it didn't rain til I got home that night.
I finished my overdue paper tonight
And tomorrow is the last day of school for turkey day break for me!!

In other news I've been posting some of my old work because people have been bugging me to see it (I have no idea why), but I did anyway and so far I've gotten two adds and one critique. Which I must say is good practice for me in keeping my temper in check, that everyone has a right to their own opinion and I understand that. But also let it be reminded that everyone has their own skill level and when critiqing someone's work to be kind and gentle about it even if it's so bad it hurts..because someone put a lot of time and work into it, or they didn't and they did it simply for sport. When critiqing one must be gracious and mature about it. That's all I have to say on that matter, but once again it gives me practice on how to polietly respond in a mature way, even if it was rudely put.
